Dela Quist

Dela Quist is a marketer, strategist and long-time email practitioner whose career has crossed publishing, media, the early commercial internet and digital marketing. He began in specialist publishing, later worked at national newspapers including The Times and at Excite during the early days of commercial search, before building a career in email and digital marketing.

He writes about marketing, media, data, AI, customer behaviour and the systems that increasingly shape what gets seen, measured and acted upon. His work tends to start with a familiar assumption, look for the mechanism underneath it and follow the consequences — often across channels and well beyond the original marketing problem.
